sigh. I need to use IE TEMPORARILY in order to download and "sign" some legal documents via a stupid program that doesn't run on Safari. I don't want to sully my lovely older Mac with any of the IE's, but have no choice. SO - how easy would it be to offload IE once I'm done with it? And is there a particular IE that doesn't screw up so much? Thanks

My firefox has been funky for a year. I've basically just switched to Safari. The problem is, certain downloads automatically grab the funky firefox and hang up my Mac. Will downloading a new version wipe out the old corrupted version or is there some removal I need to do of the old firefox versions first? In which case, how do I do that?
